EXPERIENCE DESIGN & EVENTS

Experience Design Take it or Leave it
Experience design is a way of promoting your brand, your business and your ideas by creating an ‘experience’. I can arrange Social media also plays a big part in this as I can design an activity or an event which will result in publicity and more traffic on your social media channels.

I have organised promotional competitions on social media, have had individuals send me postcards from the other side of the world (while talking about my projects and ideas on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram), I have had people actively bring objects to swap in participatory art exhibitions and organised a tea time party with colouring, snacks and events for a Paris based company.
Experience design gets people and ideas active and organically grows your social media and online presence. Get in touch and we can get this started!
MACOCOBOX
This was an event organised in France in a local restaurant in Brittany. We invited the local children to after school tea time and had printed a large scale image which I illustrated for children to colour in, mini tote bags full of MaCocoBox activities were available for the children as well as traditional French snacks. It was a fantastic event in which MaCocoBox was very pleased with the outcome and the social media traffic the event created. Please see below for images of the event.
ANSWERS ON A POSTCARD

Answers on a postcard was an extraordinary project I created whilst studying. I wanted to understand how we feel about our possessions, and wanted to ask the world. I set up a twitter and Facebook account and the response was absolutely amazing! I received hundreds of postcards from all over the world. It was interesting to see how an old method of communication (postcards) was used in conjunction of a very modern form (social media). Ever since I have explored how to use social media to connect the world through marketing and experience design. Please see below for images and examples.

TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT

I created this project after the huge success of Answers on a postcard. I wanted to see how people would act if they were given the opportunity to take free objects from an art exhibition, even when they were asked to give something back in exchange. This proved to be a great success as people left small objects for others to collect, and I was again left with an amazing collection of notes and objects which I again used to promote my artistic practice on social media. Please see below for images and examples.

Please also see some of the projects I have worked on in the Social Media section of my portfolio.
